What Are The Best Summer Beach Town Bars For Bros?

I’m a beach guy. Some Bros are mountain people, but I’d rather spend my summer weekends digging my toes into the sand and chillin’ in some gritty beach town. I make it a point to go to the beach a lot during the summer, frequenting many of the East Coast beach towns that dot the Atlantic Seaboard. In the Northeast, we spend six months of the year cold and miserable, three months of the year “meh”, and three months of summer bliss where you just want to be outside as much as possible.

My favorite bar in the world is The Starboard in Dewey Beach, Delaware. On a summer Saturday or Sunday, it one of the best day-drink destinations for Mid-Atlantic Bros. I don’t know how many gazillions of times I’ve been there, but it’s one of those spots that feels like a second home during the summer.

This got me thinking: Every Bro has a favorite beach town wateringhole where they Bro out during the summer, from the The Osprey in Manasquan to The Boardy Barn In Hampton Bays To Seacrets In Ocean City Maryland. These are spots you’d never think about for nine months out of the year, but come June, July, and August, you can’t wait to be there every weekend. On the West Coast, where there’s year-round sunshine, there are incredible spots to Bro out by the sea and surf — P.B. Shore Club and The Wood in Pacific Beach, The Bungalow in Santa Monica, and The Deck in Hermosa Beach. I’m sure there are dozens more.
