Speaking on Saturday at the University of Virginia's Valedictory Exercises, Stephen Colbert has some words of wisdom for all us millennials: "So self obsessed -- tweeting your Vines, hashtagging your Spotifys and Snapchatting your YOLOs -- your generation needs everything to be about you... And that's very upsetting to us baby boomers because self-absorption is kind of our thing... I believe we have given you a gift, a particular form of independence. You do not owe the previous generation anything. Thanks to us, you owe it to the Chinese."

In the 17-minute commencement address, Cobert, a U.Va rejectee and alumnus brief attendee of the all-boys Hampden-Sydney College, fondly reminisces on his trips to Charlottesville to party with girls and hang out in the Phi Kappa Phi house. He even comments on the U.Va's top status on Playboy's ever-important party schools lists. There's also the requisite jokes about adderall, the ridiciulous cost of a college education, U.Va's distinguished alumni, and U.Va's secret societies. But more importantly, he challenges U.Va's Class of 2013 to "choose the hard path."
