A long time ago on an online hookup site before Tinder, there was HotOrNot. A website where you were presented with a photo from two different people and you voted who was the hotter. The site kept track of the sexy battles and gave people ratings on whether the public decided if they were indeed hot or not. Now a new site has taken that online beauty pageant approach, but instead of regular people like you and me, they’re using members of Congress.
The site is SexyCongress.net, and it allows you to vote on two elected officials and decide who is the hottest. No offense to the hardworking lawmakers, but you will need to lower your standards of “sexy” a smidge to play along. You have to understand the pool of candidates is coming from individuals who are mostly in their 60s and not 20-year-old Instagram model wannabes.
However the top sexiest politicians aren’t too shabby considering. Sorry Republicans, but the Democrats take four of the top six spots when it comes to sexy stateswomen.
Even for the most thirsty of cougar hunters, things start looking like guests at your nana’s monthly book meeting from the mid-teens on.
Like there were times when I was exercising my right to vote on the site and had to pick between two ladies who began menopause in the beginning of the Nixon administration. It was like being asked, “Would you rather have your hand sawed off by a blazing hot butter knife or have your foot gnawed off by a large New York City rat?”
Oh yeah, there’s guys on the site too.
