So... the Jets lost to the Fins 10-6. Here's the dirty, unsportsmanlike play everyone's talking about from today's game. Miami cornerback Nolan Carroll ran out-of-bounds into the Jets sideline while covering a punt in the third quarter. Cameras clearly caught someone intentionally extending a foot into Carroll's path, causing him to trip full speed. Carroll was briefly rattled from the ugly cheap shot, but returned later in the game. There's little doubt League brass will call for heads. Will someone on the Jets coaching staff get a pink slip for the trip? Right now there's some speculation Strength & Conditioning coach Sal Alosi purposely tripped up Carroll.
