Ronald Poppo was the victim of the Miami face-eating assault that tsunamied across the internet a few weeks ago. He's been undergoing a few rounds of surgery, is battling a face infection, needs his nose reconstructed, and has lost full vision in at least one of his eyes. Suffice to say, its been tough sledding.
Amidst dealing with all this, Poppo had one message he wanted to make sure reached the media.
Dr. Nicholas Namias spoke with Poppo this morning, and said he had two words he wanted to convey: “Go Heat.”
Being that the Thunder have been referred to as "The Sonic Zombies," this isn't the least bit suprising.
