Listen To A Veteran Helicopter Pilot Emotionally Talk About Combat In Vietnam And Then Thank A Vet

If there is a one video that deserves all your attention and respect today, make it this one. Mark Garrison is the decorated pilot who dropped out of college at Southern Illinois University in 1967 to fly Huey helicopters for the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He just wrote an Amazon Kindle Single about his experience in the Crocodiles and Alligators of the 119th Assault Helicopter Company, which was stationed a few short miles from notorious Ho Chi Minh Trail. The book is called GUTS ‘N GUNSHIPS: What it was Really Like to Fly Combat Helicopters in Vietnam.

As a promotional video for the e-book, Garrison made a video emotionally recalling the horror of flying helicopters in combat in graphic detail. I promise you it is the most harrowing and heart-breaking thing you will listen to today.

War is hell. All the respect to Mark and the hundreds of thousands who lost their lives in Vietnam.

Never forget the sacrifices made for the freedoms we all enjoy on a regular basis, Bros.
