Prepare to eat your words, everyone who thought that this was a crime of love. Nope. Yesterday, V. Stiviano’s attacker was officially charged with a hate crime and assault. Dominick Diorio, 40, in addition to possessing a name that screams “I would commit a hate crime,” was arrested for, yup, committing a hate crime!
Apparently, Diorio, and a yet-to-be-caught second assailant, saw Stiviano at a restaurant in NYC Sunday night, and decided to yell the n-word at her, spit on her, and punch her upside the head. I guess these guys were massive Donald Sterling fans? I’m not sure I really understand who they were standing up for here. They’re part of a coalition of dudes against the secret recording of billionaires? Who the hell knows.
Diorio was at the restaurant celebrating his 40th birthday, and if punching a woman doesn’t give you enough insight into what a winner this guy is, surely this line from the Daily Mail’s article will – “Diorio currently lives with his parents and his father told The New York Post of his shock.” Sounds like someone ain’t getting any allowance this week!
Stiviano’s lawyer released a pic of her battered face (below), and it’s pretty rough. I’m not a huge fan of hers either, but maybe, ya know, don’t hit a woman?
