A few weeks ago I checked out some online previews of BBC's new, eight-part series "Human Planet." In the same vein as Discovery's "Planet Earth," "Human Planet" is the type of TV show perfect for watching baked out of your mind on a random Wednesday night when there's nothing else going on. I received quite the YouTube mind-f*ck by a clip of Kazakh hunters using a golden eagle to hunt and kill a fox from the top of a mountain ridge. It's a pretty unbelievable feat. Here's another awesome clip from "Human Planet": Three Kenyan hunters show a 15-deep pride of feasting lions who runs the show in the Serengeti bush. Total boss status. These dudes have glacier water running through their veins, walking right up to a pack of big cats that could easily rip their throats out. Ballsy. And extremely badass.
