Everyone who has ever seen Terminator 2 remembers the iconic scene where Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character pulls off the shotgun spin cock. He’s walking and shooting and spinning the M1887 shotgun in the air while he reloads. It was quite possibly the most badass movie scene (involving guns) of the 1990’s. The thing about that scene though is that a lot of hardcore enthusiasts don’t believe the Terminator Spin Cock can actually be pulled off, so one stuntman put it to the test, and he filmed that shit on the high-speed camera so that it looks badass in slow-mo HD.

So the shotgun in question here is made my Marushkin, and it’s the M1887. For years now there’s been debate over whether or not the spin cock is possible, but I think based upon these GIFs below we can finally put this argument to rest, right? So, depending on why side of the argument you were before this video it’s either Myth Busted or Myth Confirmed: the spin cock from Terminator 2 is possible (assuming you’re a ridiculously talented stunt man who’s handled guns his entire life).
