A Florida teen must have watched a little too much "Super Troopers," because when the car he was riding in was stopped, he scarfed down his marijuana stash.
Law enforcement agents noticed that the license plate numbers did not match the model car and description, so they pulled the vehicle over. Adam Joel Garcia-Parra was in the backseat of the car and was asked o exit the vehicle. Marijuana was discovered in the back seat as well as on Garcia-Parra's shirt. When the officers asked the 19-year-old to open his mouth they found more leafy green goodness on his tongue and teeth. Garcia-Parra was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, marijuana possession of less than 20 grams and introducing contraband to a county detention facility after a marijuana cigarette was found in his pants' pocket once he was at the center.
That could not have made for a tasty snack. That's why carrying pot brownies makes much more sense than carrying a bag of reefer.
I can only imagine that the incident looked very much like this.
