Study Says That People Who Order Their Coffee Black Might Be Psychopaths

Another day, another study, am I right? This time we’ve got a new one published in the journal Appetite that says if you order your coffee black, well, sorry, you might just be a psychopath.

Yep, it’s that cut and dry, folks. At least we wish it was. Sadly, it is not.

In this study of almost 1,000 people performed by Innsbruck University in Austria it was concluded that people who prefer bitter food and beverages were more likely to display personality characteristics such as “Machiavellianism, psychopathy, narcissism, and everyday sadism.”

They also included radishes, celery and tonic water as a part of this study, so if you happen to like those, you too might be a psycho. Lord knows the Trix rabbit, who surely loves radishes, would fall into this category.

The study also stated that intense eye contact is another sign of psychopathy.

So, to summarize, if you or someone you know likes black coffee, radishes, celery or tonic water, and/or likes to stare intently, there might be trouble-a-brewin’.

Oh, the answers provided by the subjects of the study were all self-reported and well, this just in, people lie.

So anyway, all those people who order their coffee black? WATCH OUT FOR THOSE GUYS!!
