Someone Already Got A Tattoo Of ‘The Dress.’ I’m Serious. It Really Happened.

Unless you’re in North Korea, you must be aware of that dumb dress that broke the Internet on Thursday. Science explained why we see different colors in the same image, but a super team of Stephen Hawking, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye couldn’t possibly expound upon as to why a human being would get a tattoo of some fleeting Internet bullshit permanently inked on their body.

Instagram user Nick York says he is a “3rd year tattoo artist” from Austin, Texas. He posted the following photo of his latest handiwork, of what appears to be a tattoo of “The Dress” on the leg of a man or a very lazy woman who has given up on appearing attractive. The photo was accompanied with the caption, “Did this tonight! #teamwhiteandgold #thedress.”

It appears that the individual who had their body marked of “The Dress” is Daniel Howland, a tattoo enthusiast also from Austin.

He wrote “@nickyork9000 did a thing on my leg” with this photo.

Howland defended his tattoo of the “Here today, gone tomorrow” Internet meme on another Instagram image.

I suppose he makes a valid point. Sort of. It will suck in a few months when everyone forgets about “The Dress” and he has to explain the whole story to people who just think that he really, really loves dresses.
