Evanston, Illinois: Home to kinky, in-class f*cksaw demonstrations, a Jimmy John's, and college rapper beef wars? This morning a tipster read our Q and A with Northwestern University sophomore Chet Haze and brought our attention to a diss track that he claims is making the rounds amongst the student body at Northwestern University. The track, titled "Black and Purple," was cut by some rapper we've never heard of named "P-Holla." Our source tells us P-Holla is a senior at Northwestern from Columbus, Ohio and a member of a rap group called "C-Zoo." Again, never heard of it. So you can see some of the things he's calling his fellow Wildcat out on, we've transcribed a few of the lyrics:

Geeze. Not sure we get the point of dropping this track. Jealousy? Doesn't really seem very tactful. We have no idea what provoked all the bad blood, but it sounds like things need to cool off on the North Shore. We also have no idea how Haze will retaliate.
