Space Bros Head Out To The Desert To Make A Gorgeous, Seven-Mile Wide Scale Model Of The Solar System

I’m a sucker for any kind of scale comparison like this, but this is SO beautifully done. It’s such a great way to give you an example of the size of our solar system and how really, really empty it is.

In these Bros’ model, if the Earth is the size of a marble, the solar system would by seven miles wide.

So they decided to make it just like that. They drove out to a flat desert in Nevada and placed every planet, then drove around at night to show their orbits.

It really is impressive.
