There is not a single thought that could possibly go through my head whilst skydiving that would cause me to forget to pull my parachute. Forgot to pay the water bill? Whatever I’ll shower at the gym. Decided to go skydiving instead of pick up my little brother from school? Well he’s fat so walking home will be good exercise. What POSSIBLE thought could go through your mind and cause you to forget about the fact that you’re plummeting towards the ground and possibly about to literally SPLAT everywhere?
These two dudes were about 5 seconds away from certain death, and the one who’s taping the whole thing is lucky he landed in a cornfield. But that other guy? He might be dead for all we know; maybe he landed face-first into concrete which would probably kill you at their speed. It’s not until the absolute last second that the automatic activation devices deployed the parachutes, which you can tell since they only glided for around 4 seconds before smashing into the ground.
Tl;dr: don’t fuck around with parachutes.
