Sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers is the man credited with fatally shooting a gunman who stormed the Canadian Parliament yesterday, and today he received a very emotional standing ovation from members of every Canadian political party.
Yesterday’s tragic attack left one soldier dead, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, in which gunman Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Candian born citizen stormed the Canadian Parliament, and today in order to show their solidarity and resilience Parliament is back to business. But not before the entire Canadian Parliament honored Sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers with a very emotional standing ovation as he opened today’s session.
