Starting today, marijuana is pretty much legal in Washington state, at least until the federal government ruins the party. Meanwhile, the Seattle Police Department has a terrific message for its residents. Hard to believe this is something coming from a police department. Via the Seattle Post Intelligencer:

“The police department believes that, under state law, you may responsibly get baked, order some pizzas and enjoy a ‘Lord of the Rings’ marathon in the privacy of your own home, if you want to.”
