A Boston College student bragged on social media about her Dad’s settlement money from a wrongful termination suit and, in turn, violated the terms of the suit, costing her dad the money.

Dana Snay’s father’s contract was not renewed at Miami’s Gulliver Preparatory School last year. He sued and the two parties settled out of court. Part of the agreement was that the terms could not be disclosed. Enter Dana and this Facebook post:

“Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

The school found out and reported it. A judge agreed it nullified the deal and Snay’s father was forced to return the money.

I can’t imagine how that conversation went when her Dad found out. I didn’t even cost my father that much when I attended college.
