Before delivering a powerful speech at Newtown High School on Sunday evening, President Obama prepared in a nearby staging area. That's where a Newtown High School teacher and the school's head football coach wrote a whiteboard message to the President. Awesomely enough, POTUS responded:
Via Cosby Sweaters
“Dear President Obama,
The Newtown community is so thankful that you are coming to help us heal. In times of adversity it is reassuring to know that we have a strong leader to help us recover.”
- Steve George, Teacher/Football Coach
- Bobby Pattison, Teacher
Here's how the President responded:
“You’re in our thoughts and prayers.”
Barack Obama
