It’s not often sequels live up to original. Directors rely on the same tropes as the first that fast become stale, or they try new things audiences don’t want, or none of the original actors come back and the movies feel forced.
PIZZA RAT 2: THE SEQUEL 2 PIZZA RAT does not fall victim to any of that bullshit. It is as good, or better than, the original.
It’s a bigger blockbuster, with even more action. Ebert gave it two thumbs up.
