Pi Kappa Phi At North Carolina State Suspended After Discovery Of Pledge Book Full Of ‘Sexist, Racist’ Comments

Guys, can we go a full week without having some sort of media shit storm over a fraternity? Please? It’s getting really redundant and depressing to write about. Not that the men who write awful shit don’t deserve what’s coming to them, of course – but Jesus fucking Christ can you guys take a break from getting caught being stupid assholes? It’s not that hard. All you have to do is NOT get caught on camera being a douche, as well as NOT write down all the shitty things you say that are, sure, funny between friends, but any outsider reading “If she’s hot enough, she doesn’t need a pulse” is going to automatically assume whoever said that is a blossoming rapist.

Just use your brain, or take a lesson from Pi Kappa Phi at North Carolina State University since they just got a nice fat interim suspension pending the outcome of an investigation into a pledge book that was left at a restaurant near campus.

Whoever that pledge is, he’s about to have an awful fucking week.

The little, green book, filled with handwritten comments, included racially and sexually charged language and derogatory comments about women and children…

“The written comments and quotes reported earlier this evening are offensive and unacceptable,” Pi Kappa Phi Chief Executive Officer Mark E. Timmes said in a statement.

“These statements are inconsistent with the values of Pi Kappa Phi and will not be tolerated. We have instructed our students to cooperate fully with all investigation efforts.”

But what could possibly have ignited such anger towards the men of Pi Kappa Phi? Well classy statements that truly uphold Pi Kapp’s ideals, such as:

“It will be short and painful, just like when I rape you”

“If she’s hot enough, she doesn’t need a pulse”

“That tree is so perfect for lynching”

“Be kind to the whales because they’ll lead you to the dolphins”

Not gonna lie, I laughed at that last one.

An “interim suspension” only means that Pi Kappa Phi can’t hold meetings or participate in philanthropy events during the investigation, however I wouldn’t be surprised if a harsher punishment gets thrown into their faces regardless of what the investigation yields.
