A Girl Tried To Scam A Guy Out Of Money On OKCupid, So He Expertly Trolled The Shit Out Of Her

This story, which is claimed to be true by the comedian reading it word-for0word off his phone, is the perfect marriage of what happens when scammers scam and trolls troll. We’re talking real, fairytale shit here, friends.

Comedian Mike Bobrinskoy is not the first person on earth to be approached by a scammer online. He may well be the best at wasting a scammer’s time, but he isn’t the first. I know that because, like you, I’ve also been contacted by kings and princes of countries I couldn’t point out to you on a map. But unlike all the emails I’ve received, his scam came on OKCupid.

Quite honestly, I didn’t even know scammers finally moved on from sending woe-is-me emails. I’m glad to see they did. Throwing their hats in the dating website/app ring might just be the perfect strategic move. Instead of sending out thousands, even millions, of emails hoping to find a few pathetic suckers, you take your ball and bring your game to a court where a lot of people will do very stupid shit all in the name of love. Or, what they think in their fragile little brain is love.

That said, just bringing your game to a new venue doesn’t mean automatic success. You still have to try to coax the money out of your victim’s bank account and into your pocket. That’s what a girl on OKCupid tried to do to Mike Bobrinskoy. But Mike wasn’t having any of that shit.
