If you like science and shit, you should most certainly check out the YouTube channel Veritasium. I love science and shit, which is why I watch all their videos.
You usually don’t see them on here, though, because good as they are, talking about how round some spheres are ain’t the most thrilling thing in the world.
But this video that host Derek Muller put together is thrilling, in a terrifying, terrifying way. He heads down to a U.S. nuclear weapons silo and walks through the process of what it takes to shoot off a nuclear bomb.
Because apparently they’ll let anyone do that.
Don’t worry though, the bombs here are disarmed. Still, that doesn’t make this any less of a frightening reminder that the end could come at any time.
