Some Saggy Boners Over At A New Jersey High School Got Upset When A Teacher Used Strippers To Teach Grammar

People are stupid. You know what’s even stupider than people? People whose ages fall between 14 and 18. Those are the stupidest stupids to ever stupid around town, so if teaching those stupid idiots how to do grammar good means you gotta whip out some strippers to get your point across, then by all means go out and see what’s struttin’ around the front of the local Dollarama outside of business hours.

Or that’s my view on it, at least. The parents over at Highland Park High School in New Jersey don’t share my opinion for whatever reason, said reason probably being “We’re old, lame, and would rather our children be illiterate than look at cartoon renditions of JFK and Stalin in scantily clad dress.”

A drawing of JFK, Stalin and two strippers is causing outrage among some parents at Highland Park High School after a teacher used the image during class.

The picture was used to illustrate the importance of the Oxford comma. It shows without using a comma before the word “and,” whoever is writing the sentence is calling JFK and Stalin strippers.
“Wow. That’s unbelievable. That is unbelievable. I mean I feel like I shouldn’t be looking at that picture right now,” said Amy Steward, a Highland Park mother.

Highland Park ISD said it was an isolated incident and administrators have talked to the teacher who used the image in a 10th grade English class.

“I mean, it’s not appropriate. And I don’t understand why a teacher would use that. To me that’s not really teaching them anything,” said Marcel Solman, a parent.(via)

Marcel Solman apparently does not understand basic grammar, otherwise he would understand the difference between “We invited the strippers, JFK and Stalin” versus “We invited the strippers, JFK and Stalin.”

In the end, everything turned out “eh, okay whatever” – the teacher apologized to his students, none of which probably gave a shit in the first place, and then the school district made sure to cover its ass by saying that “the image was not approved by administrators and the teacher on his own made the decision to use the drawing.”
