I hate it when hippies parade the flag upside down to make some sort of extremist point about America “being in a state of distress.” Yeah, we took civics class. I know what the symbol means. Bottomline: You are parading around saying whatever the fuck you want to without going to jail or getting publicly hung from a crane in a square for it (Homeland-style), so it’s NOT THAT BAD. These Marines who fought for that flag weren’t too happy about seeing Old Glory disrespected like that.
So they did something about it.
