There's no shortage of awesome time-lapse and stop-motion videos about our fair home, New York City. Some are mesmerizing; others are instantly forgettable. Photographer and filmmaker Josh Owens, who posts on Vimeo as 'Mindrelic,' shot this wonderful four-minute reel during "a little over a month hotel hopping in Manhattan." Although Owens has filmed other time-lapse videos of Gotham, this is far and away his best work yet. Sit back, chill out, smoke whatever you might like to smoke, and melt your mind with the city bustling and buzzing in fast-forward.
