Man Arrested For Shooting At Neighbor Over Bike Tire Asks Police ‘What’s The Big Deal?’

Sometimes you just get tired of your neighbors coming over and borrowing your shit all the time and you have to send a strong message – like firing off your shotgun in their general direction. Gotta teach those pesky neighbors that eventually there comes a point where they’ve crossed the line, am I right? Even if the neighbor was just dropping by to fill up his bike tire with a little air.

Delray Beach police (oh, did we mention this was in Florida, because, duh) say that Stephen Gianuzzi’s neighbor was riding his bike through the neighborhood when he noticed a tire running a bit low on air. So, as he has done in the past, he stopped by Gianuzzi’s to fill it up. He says he knocked on the door and when he got no response he went back to his bike.

That’s when Gianuzzi reportedly appeared in the doorway and fired off a shot just to the left of his neighbor with a shotgun.

Police interviewed Gianuzzi at his home and said he appeared to be intoxicated. He said he was sick of his neighbor coming over and asking for air for his bicycle tires, according to the report.

“Guys, what’s the big deal?” Gianuzzi asked, according to the report. “I shot wide to the left of him.”

So much Florida in those sentences. Soooo much Florida.

Gianuzzi was charged with discharging a firearm in public and aggravated assault with a firearm.
