Introducing The ‘Lykan HyperSport’ — The Car From ‘Furious 7’ With A $3.4 Million Price Tag

We’ve been hitting the ‘Furious 7’ coverage pretty hard for months. From the moment the first trailer dropped on through last weekend when ‘Furious 7’ hit theaters we’ve brought you all the news you needed to know. But today I realized I’d failed you bros when I came across an article talking about the rise of ‘million dollar super cars’ and the $3.7 million Lykan HyperSport from W Motors that made its big debut in ‘Furious 7’ and is the movie’s most iconic car. So today we’re going to learn all about the Lykan HyperSport from W Motors, because it’s quite possibly the most badass car on the market today.

Put into production by W Motors from 2012-2014, the Lykan HyperSport carries a price tag of $3.4 million, making it the third most expensive production car ever built (behind the Lamborghini Veneno US$4.5 million and the one-off Maybach Exelero US$8 million). Only seven of the Lykan HyperSports were ever built, and only three were sold. Chances are that you’ll never see one in person, but as the flagship car of ‘Furious 7’ you’ll be able to watch it on the big screen forever.

As for specs, this car is straight up NASTY. The Lykan HyperSport has a reported top speed of 239 MPH, and goes 0-60 MPH in only 2.8 seconds. So why haven’t you heard more about the Lykan HyperSport or its manufacturer, W Motors? Well, aside from the fact that there were only seven of them ever build, it’s also the first ‘super car’ to be built in the Middle East. Blazing the pathway for a whole new generation of super cars, W Motors is based out of Dubai (founded in Beirut, Lebanon), and is capitalizing on the extreme wealth of the Dubai region and that wealth’s love of high-end cars.

Here are some pics from W Motors’ website of this ridiculous piece of machinery. It looks equal parts ‘sexy speedster’ and ‘military combat vehicle’:
