A WHOLE LOT Of People Got Drunk Because Of Death Storm Juno Monday Night

The bros playing beer pong on on the streets of Manhattan’s East Village weren’t the only ones who decided that the best way to cope with the expected BLIZZARD OF THE CENTURY Juno. Apparently a whole bunch of people decided to get hammered in response to the threat of being snowed into their homes.

According to Drizly, the booze delivery app, at one point Monday afternoon alcohol purchases were up 477 percent (!) in Boston and New York in anticipation of Winter Storm Juno.

Good thing everyone had all that booze too since INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK WERE DOWN! That was the real state of emergency, people!!

Unfortunately, with the bad weather came store closings and so it would seem Drizly was unable to fulfill all of their requests. The final tally, however, shows that while it may have been cold and blustery outside many of the citizens of New York and Boston were still able to stay nice and toasty…and toasted…inside.
