While Americans won't be able to partake in the Uruguay weed that runs 20x cheaper than what can be found in the States—the law applies to locals only—they should keep an eye on the South American country. Uruguay will be an experiment: Can a country cut out its drug dealers by beating them not with prison sentences, but economics? And if so, could that model actually work in the U.S.?
