Last night, John Oliver reported on the tragic, and arguably fucked up, events that occurred last week in Ferguson, Missouri. Oliver’s target during the segment was the Ferguson Police Department and their head-scratching reactions to EVERYTHING, which he thinks are partially due to the over-militarization of all police departments in our country. He helped make his point by showing a hilarious viral video of two dudes from Michigan creaming their pants over a badass MRAP police car, until one of them suddenly realized what it meant, saying, “Dude, that’s fucked up. Has our city gotten that fuckin’ bad?” Yeah, it probably hasn’t.
