In November 2009, BroBible and Bernie Hatefield Productions introduced you to an instant-legend: the Jersey Sports Fan. Back then this diehard Jets fan was flabbergasted by Mark Sanchez's hot dog eating, sleeping better because of Darrelle Revis, and trying desperately to get through to Mike Francesa's show on WFAN. The last time we saw him, the Jets had just "made it to January" and were en route to an AFC Championship defeat at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Colts. Then, suddenly, the Jersey Sports Fan disappeared. Gone. Completely. Just like Sanchez's hot dog.

We half expected that he'd wash up in the swamps of Jersey, but we started hearing rumors that he was in fact wandering the Outback in Australia. Seriously. We searched and search for JSF, and all but issued an Amber Alert the past couple weeks as the Jets upended both the Colts and the Patriots to earn themselves a return trip to the AFC title game.

Then, miraculously, there was a Jersey Sports Fan sighting… in Hawaii of all places. No, he's not there to see his men in green at the Pro Bowl — he expects Revis, Nick Mangold, and D'Brickashaw Ferguson to have more important priorities next week. So what's he doing there? And what does he think about the Jets' 2010-2011 campaign and Sunday's big game against Pittsburgh? You'll find out the answer to those questions and more later this afternoon, but right now, we want to give everyone a refresher course on the man, the myth, the legend.
