This video popped up in my Facebook Newsfeed today and I figured it was worth sharing to a bigger audience. It's from ABC's hidden camera/ethical dilemma show, "What Would You Do?" hosted by John Quinones. In this segment they have a acne-faced, smart-ass teenager wearing a God Bless America shirt confronting a Muslim guy working behind the counter of a deli somewhere in upstate New York. The teenager harasses the guy with all the jingoistic, bombastic drivel white conservative American racists tend to spew about Muslims: How they're "not Americans" and "hate America," etc, et al. Because this is upstate New York and not, say, a small town in Alabama, the reactions from the bystanders who aren't in on it are adamently defensive of the man behind the counter. Fast forward to the 4:45 mark, which is the best moment of the segment, by far. It's when a U.S. Army Bro steps in and straight up tells this punk douche like it is.
Bravo, U.S. Army Bro. We salute you.
The real winner here?
Every. Damn. Time.
Sidenote: OH OF COURSEEEEEE THE DUDE IN THE NASCAR HAT IS MOST RACIST PERSON IN THIS VIDEO. OFFFF COURRRRRRRRRSEEEEE...
