Israeli Women Are Posting Pictures of Their T & A on Facebook to Support the IDF

Rarely do we dabble in complex geopolitical conflicts here at BroBible, but this story — which fell on our radar via The Daily Dot — is weirdly up our alley. To increase Israeli Defense Force soldiers’ morale during the IDF’s ground invasion in Gaza, Israeli women are posting scantily-clad pics of their T&A to a Facebook page. The Standing with the IDF – Maintaining a Protective Edge Facebook page has grown to 15,000 LIKES since it was created a couple of days ago. The pictures are all of women who have written something along the lines of “I Heart the IDF” on their semi-naked bodies and snapped a picture.

It’s basically the IDF’s equivalent of rush boobs on TFM.

Not so sure this show of “morale” from Israel’s women is the way to resolve a war that has resulted in over 500 casualties in Gaza. If anything, it seems like it might be fodder to continue fueling anti-Israeli sentiment around the world. Israeli’s PR hasn’t exactly been so great as of late;  jingoistic displays of boobs and butts in support of the IDF probably aren’t going to help that, no matter what the intentions are.

Here’s what their About Section says in English, via our friends at The Daily Dot:

Speaking to the Times of Israel, the founder of the page tried to justify it by saying:

“We have two bountiful resources in Israel that are impossible to compete with, Israeli minds and the most beautiful women in the world,” Beyo explained in a post on Facebook.

“We also have a military front so… why not combine the two?” he added.

Here’s an example of the type of pics people posted to the page.
