Huge Bro move. Look: Selling your sepia-filter social network to Facebook for a cool $1 billion (in two days, too!) is badass enough. So how did the business partners celebrate?
The two co-founders of Instagram, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, headed to Vegas to party at the Wynn and Encore and have dinner at Botero with Deadmau5, Diplo, and Avicii. They're 26 and now worth a couple million each. Meanwhile, just yesterday journalism rockstar Sara Ganim at the Patriot-News won a Pulitzer at the age of 24. Now, take a deep breath and a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror, disgruntled twentysomethings everywhere, and ask yourself a very, very important question: What are you doing with your life?
Says the NY Post:
But before dinner, Waits appropriately posted a photo on Instagram of the group. Afterward, Systrom and Krieger went to XS to check out Avicii’s set. Onlookers told us Krieger and Systrom then held court at the owner’s table at XS before moving onstage to get a closer view while Avicii performed. We’re told the tech duo called it a night at about 4 a.m.
No word on how many ladies "called it a night" with them at about 4 a.m. Party on, Kevin and Mike. Inspiration to bro entrepreneurship everywhere. How would you celebrate if your company was sold, a la Instagram's deal to Facebook?
