Any Bro who doesn't aspire to be Mark Cuban is just lying to himself.
The billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks was interviewed by Howard Stern on Wednesday. Here's how he started it out: “I’m the luckiest motherfucker in the world. Every single day I wake up and go, ‘If I can’t have fun, then something’s wrong.' I’m pretty much the same guy I was before I had money. I just don’t put any limits on myself. If I want to do something and I think it’ll be fun, I can do it.”
Let that sink in for a second: "If I want to do something and I think it'll be fun, I can do it."
That's the life right there.
It's a fascinating conversation about Cuban's lifestyle. There's A LOT of anecdotal takeaways here, including Cubes on entrepreneurship, wealth management, basketball, and partying. There's also some interesting discussion about how Cuban helped retire his parents, how much respect he has for Armed Forces veterans, and the time he bought a lifetime American Airlines "fly-anywhere" ticket for $125,000 after he sold his first company for $6 million at the age of 28. As a result, he once got Magic Johnson kicked off a plane, natch. Just Cubes being Cubes.
