Well, this is a little update of the classic, urban-legend of a senior prank where you grease up two pigs and let them loose in classroom-lined hallways, each labeled #1 and #3, respectively…so that presumably dopey school administrators are left scratching their heads when they can’t find #2.
Instead, seven high school seniors from Morganza, Md., took their sending-off prank and went complete full-throttle with it. Like, unleashing 72,000 live lady bugs upon Chopticon High School kind of full-throttle.

So, a few things here…
First, where the hell does one even acquire 72,000 ladybugs, with ample explanation about how they’re going to be appropriately used?! Oh, that’s right, AMAZON – where you can buy literally ANYTHING. Kudos to these seven kids for pulling that off alone.
Second, this prank is awesome. Flat-out. Amazing execution, obviously, because the whole country is talking about it. Did it cause a public nuisance? Yeah, maybe. But, really, was their any harm done? No way, just as all the students interviewed conveyed. They loved it! Thought it was memorable. And heck, it was the CLASS PRESIDENT at the helm here.
Sure, maybe there’s a few thousand ladybugs on the loose in Chopticon High right now, but who doesn’t like ladybugs? Seriously, they’re like the most gentle bug in the animal kingdom. That blonde girl even said she didn’t mind them crawling around in her hair! Seems like footing the exterminator bill would be ample punishment for these kids, right?
There’s no way anyone should be prevented from walking at graduation. That, in and of itself is criminal. Do you know how much free press Chopticon is probably getting right now!? A shit-ton.
Because their graduating seniors pulled off a brilliant, never before seen prank. School administrators should be able to laugh this one off, roll with it, and assume their legal right to drop any charges against these graduating seniors.
Oh, and then let them walk tomorrow, too.
