It's easy to forget how fortunate we are living in this great country. 'The Heroes Project,' a foundation dedicated to helping wounded soldiers live their lives to the fullest, is fully committed to making sure we treat America's most noble men and women with the proper honor, respect, and support they deserve.
In 2009, Tim Wayne Medvetz started The Heroes Project, a foundation dedicated to raising funds to help wounded warriors climb the world's highest peaks and find a renewed purpose in their lives. The foundation is predicated on the idea that we can make a difference and change the lives of our wounded veterans, soldiers, and their families - one soldier, one veteran, one family at a time (http://theheroesproject.org).
The Heroes Project works with the veterans, solider and military families community on all levels. Its mission is to improve the care and protection of heroes through individual support, community empowerment and systemic change.
Actor Dean Winters has joined this undoubtedly worthy cause, and has recently launched a Wish via Causes on Facebook to support the initiative. The funds raised will go toward The Heroes Project’s upcoming Indonesia climb with retired Army Sgt. Noah Galloway, who will be attempting this monumental feat after losing his left arm above the elbow and left leg above the knee in an IED attack in Yusafiah, Iraq. Make sure to check out the wish page here.
We're proud to be associated with the Heroes Project, and hope you share our collective passion in helping out our nation's bravest men and women. There's no question they've earned it.
