It was to be called "Tits and Glass." Tits. And. Glass. That was the truly inspiring name of the first-ever porn app to be released on Glass, Google's wearable computer. And now, it's gone.
Just a few hours after developer Mikandi announced the app on Monday, Google updated its developer policy to explicitly ban explicit content from appearing on Glass products. Meaning, the smut would have to go. Sneaky, Google. Sneaky.
We don’t allow Glassware content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts, or sexually explicit material. Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography. If we become aware of content with child pornography, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and delete the Google Accounts of those involved with the distribution.
But really, how, exactly, did Google not originally account for the possibility that someone might want to get into the hands-free porn game? They need to place a 14-year-old kid on the review staff. 14-year-olds see possibilities for boobs everywhere.
