Researchers in southern Russia set up a camera to capture a golden eagle swooping down to attack a young sika deer. The hungry eagle not only took down the deer, but it more or less completely devoured it. The photos -- by Linda Kerley of the Zoological Society of London and Jonathan Slaght of the Wildlife Conservation Society to photograph Siberian tigers and published in the Journal of Raptor Research. -- are BADASS too.
I propose Auburn starts doing this at the start of their football games, just as a reminder that nature isn't a Disney movie.
