There is no doubt that there are some very serious national conversations going on about police abuse of power. But this is so insanely stupid that it genuinely makes my head hurt. Recording a police officer isn’t a crime and nor should it in our great, free republic, but I can’t tell if she’s just trolling him or if she’s purposely trying to sound as psychotic as possible. The cop just keeps his cool and remains chill the whole time.
In the end, the officer just gives up and goes back to his car. Why even waste time bothering with this level of lunacy?
Deep down, I want to believe this is just a meta parody of traffic stop videos. I’m not so sure, though. She really seems insistent about the whole taking-his-sunglasses-off thing.
