Over the weekend I must have met at least three sports broadcasting majors at Penn State who claimed they want to be the next Erin Andrews. That's fine and all because she's obviously hot and talented, but haven't the future sideline reporters of America heard of other sassy sports broadcasting smoke shows like Jenn Brown, Leeann Tweeden, Michelle Beadle, Erin Bates, and Penn State's own Melanie Collins? Hell, even citing Hannah Storm will earn you respect in certain circles. Just for the record, Bleacher Report compiled a list of 20 other sideline reporters NOT named Erin Andrews just a few weeks ago. In fact, I'm going to suggest my alma mater's Communication Department make it required reading so their majors aren't constantly name dropping "Erin Andrews" when they land their first post-grad interview at ESPN.
Further proving my point that every single woman in America wants to be EA, Melanie Bohannon, the cougary wife of Georgia Tech quarterback coach Brian Bohannon, dressed up for Halloween as the Gameday reporter in a very specific GQ photo shoot from last year. The stringers over at The Angry T have tracked down photos of her Halloween costume and all we have to say is "Daaaamnnn..." Bigger photo after the jump, courtesy of our friends at Busted Coverage.
