Nowadays, no camping trip is complete without forty instagrams. 

Great work here by Denver-based artist Grant Snider, who decided to imagine what it'd be like to pull a Henry David Thoreau in 2012. The result is somewhat disturbing. 

As the cartoon astutely notes, there's really no point of doing anything these days without telling the world know how awesome you are in the most narcissistic way possible. #LetsGoCamping.
