Woman With ‘Live And Learn’ Tramp Stamp In Jail After Causing Serious Crash And Getting Hit With Sixth DUI

Ye olde ‘Practice What You Preach’ proverb is one of the most widely used pieces of advice in the world, but it seems one woman in Florida with a ‘Live And Learn’ tramp stamp didn’t heed her own advice, and ended up causing a major accident that landed her in jail with her fourth (known) DUI charge.

A Palm Beach Woman named Victoria Parker caused a horrific accident last week that led to another driver needing emergency abdomen surgery, upon investigating the scene deputies ascertained that Parker was under the influence. After poking a little bit further they discovered that this is actually the FOURTH DUI charge for Victoria Parker in Palm Beach County alone, and then when taking mugshots they discovered the ominous ‘Live and Learn’ tattoo on her back. While this is being reported as her fourth DUI in Palm Beach, it’s actually unclear how many she’s been charged with in her life because this is only her fourth in Palm Beach County.

At the time of the accident the woman sporting the ‘Live and Learn’ ink was driving with a permanently revoked license for a violation of probation charge stemming from a previous DUI. If there’s one thing that can be said about Victoria Parker it’s that she’s persistent in her ways.

The Palm Beach Post reports:

When Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies found Victoria Parker bleeding and incoherent behind the wheel of a crashed Ford pickup truck this month, one deputy was “immediately overwhelmed by an odor of alcohol,” according to a report.

What deputies may not have known about the Lake Worth woman with a “Live and Learn” tattoo on her back as they checked to make sure she was OK was this wasn’t the first time she was found behind the wheel under the influence.

In Palm Beach County alone, she’s been arrested four times on DUI charges since 2003, according to county records.

Parker, 28, will remain in the Palm Beach County Jail without bail for a violation of probation on a previous DUI, according to Judge Caroline Shepherd. In court Friday, an assistant state attorney pointed out the crash happened while Parker’s driver’s license was permanently revoked.

In Lake Park on March 11, witnesses say they saw Parker driving the blue Ford F-150 southbound on U.S. Route 1 when she veered left into oncoming traffic. A lawyer representing the occupants in the other car spoke in court Friday morning, saying the driver needed emergency surgery on his abdomen because of the crash.

A toxicology report revealed she had a laundry list of drugs in her system, from cocaine to alprazolam, used to treat anxiety. There is no indication of her blood alcohol level in the arrest report.

In 2011, Parker was arrested for a DUI with her 17-month-old son in the backseat of the car in the Jupiter area, according to authorities. At the time of that arrest, a sheriff’s deputy noted her license was revoked for 10 years because of a 2008 DUI conviction in Alachua County. In the same report, the deputy points out five prior arrests for DUI. In 2007 alone, Parker had three DUIs in three different counties in a two-week span, according to dates provided in the arrest report.

Hold up ONE SECOND. She’s had FOUR DUI’s in Palm Beach County, 1 in Alachua County, but in a 14-day span she managed to get THREE DUI’s in THREE COUNTIES. How many goddamn DUI’s does this chick have? And how is she not locked up permanently by now? What the hell is going on down in Florida?!?!

Everyone I’ve ever known in Florida (and I’ve known quite a few) who had DUI’s had the book thrown at them each time: huge fines, huge community service penalties. If they got a second DUI then their license was insta-revoked, and there was a slight chance they were able to drive if they had a breathalyzer in their car, but chances are they were without a license for several years. I can’t say offhand that I’ve ever known anyone who has gotten a THIRD DUI, but I’d like to think that a judge would toss someone behind bars IMMEDIATELY (mother or not). And if, like it seems this woman has, someone gets like fifty DUI’s in under a decade then she should just permanently reside behind bars, right?

It’s like she’s the Ronnie Dobbs of DUI’s in Florida:

By my count she has a MINIMUM of 6 DUI’s already. Four we know about in Palm Beach County, the one in Alachua County, and the 3rd unknown county when she got 3 DUI’s in 3 counties in two weeks. SIX DUI’s at a bare minimum, and she was somehow out there driving around last week. This is the textbook definition of WTFlorida.
