Erectile Dysfunction? Your Issues May Not Be From All The Booze You Just Drank

Picture this scenario: you’re at a party having a great time. The drinks are flowing and you hook up with this piece of ass, one that is totally into you and sending out those all-important “we’re going to fuck” vibes.

Before not too long, the two of you end up back at your place and are getting down to business. You are totally into it but can’t maintain an adequate erection no matter what either one of you do. It’s like playing pool with a rope.

Whiskey dick again? Perhaps not…

There is no magic number attached to it, but the vast majority of men begin showing at least some signs of low testosterone once they reach the age of 30. And a few of these are directly related to your libido and ability to perform in the bedroom.

Here are a few things to be aware of and if you meet any of this criteria, it may be in your best interest to have you testosterone levels checked the next time you visit the doctor.

1. MORNING WOOD

One of the ‘tests’ that you can do on a daily basis is to see if you wake up with an erection in the morning. Remember when you were a teenager and had to hide that tent when mom woke you up to get ready for school? Well, if you can’t remember the last time that you experienced that, it’s time to look into the reason why.

2. HARD AND SOFT

You are able to get it up and begin doing your best Ron Jeremy impression with your significant other. But you – and her – notice that your erection gets weaker while you are having sex.

Maybe you can get it back and finish the job, but don’t continue to brush this off if it becomes more than the exception to the norm.

3. CAN’T FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED

You can get a hard-on and maintain it, but cannot cum no matter how much you try and want to. Different positions, oral sex, masturbation…nothing seems to put you over the top.

That can happen to even the best of us once in a while, but it should not continue to occur on a regular basis.

4. NOT TONIGHT, HONEY

That phrase is usually reserved for your wife or girlfriend. If you start uttering those evil words and just don’t have the same sexual desires that you did years ago, a major red flag should go up. We as men were born to screw as much as humanly possible and then ask for more. If you either turn down your wife or just stop asking for it, pick up the phone and make an appointment.

OK, SO WHAT ABOUT THIS BLOOD TEST?

What the results will show is your test levels in nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). The so-called ‘normal’ range is from 300 ng/dL to 1,200. So don’t settle for your doctor just trying to get you from 225 to 300. If you’re going to do this, do it right and get to the high end of the chart.
