As an insincere, cynical blogger, I immediately made some terrible jokes about this (you can see one at the bottom), but this is a bummer.
I’ve lost a dog too soon before, and it is miserable. Even going through that, I can only imagine what it is like to see a puppy pass away, one you just got, who you were just starting to love. That’s what happened to Dwayne Johnson, who had to put down one of the two puppies he recently took in.
Brutus ate a poisonous mushroom and was euthanized by a vet shortly thereafter. Now, he is at that big screening of the new Fast & The Furious movie in the sky. Brutus is survived by his brother Hobbs.
It seems Brutus may have never been long for this world. He almost drowned the day The Rock got him.
You have our sympathies.
But in difficult times, we can all use a laugh.
