How many drunk texts did you send this weekend? How many did you regret the next morning? I’ll just assume you answered “hundreds” and “all of them” and tell you about Drunk Mode.
To avoid drunk dialing, Drunk Mode hides your contact list for a period of up to 12 hours. The Drunk Mode app also sends text messages every half hour to remind you to not to text anything stupid, tweet something dumb, or get behind the wheel of a car like a drunk moron. It also features an option called “bread crumbs” which will remind you the next day of everywhere you went the night before.
The app is in Beta testing but they’re having an IndieGoGo to launch the app into beast mode. The new features will include “Find a Ride” which will help drunk bros grabbed taxis, Uber/Lyfts, drunk buses, safe rides and public transportation are in real time to make it more convenient to not drunk drive, “Recovery Mode” which can Recover all your lost snapchats and where you took them and a “Hype Map” to find the best parties are in real time.
Your only regret will be not downloading the app sooner. Like “100 sobbing texts to your ex” sooner.
