Trump may have done himself in this time. After continuously berating Fox News host Megyn Kelly on Twitter for asking him tough questions at Thursday’s GOP debate, Trump went on CNN last night and had some nasty words for Kelly.
“I just don;t respect her as a journalist, she’ overrated, she’s not very good…(During the debate) She gets out there and starts asking ridiculous questions. You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, and blood coming out of her whatever.

So yeah Trump basically said the reason Megyn Kelly was asking him tough questions on debate night was because she was on her period.
Trump was then blasted by Republican and Democratic pundits a like on Twitter for his comments on Kelly.
Donald Trump – @donlemon on #MegynKelly "there was blood coming out of here eyes… Blood coming out of her whatever." Seriously? #GOPDebate

Yes, attacking one of the country's most liked and respected journalists about "blood coming out of wherever" is totally presidential.

Sad but predictable meltdown from Trump. With all due respect to @megynkelly the outrage at Trump's divisive language is long overdue.

Conservative radio host Erick Erickson also rescinded a speaking invitation that had been extended to Trump.
I have rescinded my invitation to Mr.Trump. While I have tried to give him great latitude, his remark about Megyn Kelly was a bridge too far

And it doesn’t seem Trump’s team is backing down from Trump’s comments about Kelly as they went on the offensive and attacked Erickson.
Trump campaign spox: "Blame Erick Erickson, your weak and pathetic leader. We'll now be doing another campaign stop at another location."

This is not a good look for Trump. He’s saying some pretty nasty stuff against a female anchor that is respected and liked by people who vote on both sides of the spectrum.
Update: Trump claims he that he meant “blood out of her nose” instead of vagina.
Re Megyn Kelly quote: "you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever" (NOSE). Just got on w/thought
