After getting hit by a rogue wave on Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, this poor deer got swept out to sea in the turbulent currents caused by Hurricane Sandy. A resident chased the deer down and, fortunate enough for the deer, animal control and humane society responded in time to tranquilize it. It's suffering a broken leg, but reports suggest it will recover just fine. Be safe out there.
