Dee Snider, frontman of metal band Twisted Sister (of "Were Not Gonna Take It" fame), is not happy with Republican Vice Presedential Candidate Paul Ryan. After discovering that Ryan was playing the hit song out on the campaign trail, Snyder had this to say:
“I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan’s use of my song ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ as recorded by my band Twisted Sister. There is almost nothing on which I agree with Paul Ryan, except perhaps the use of the P90X.”
So it looks like Ryan, the Republican who also enjoys Raging Against the Machine, is yet again an ironic victim of a "you're not allowed to like my song because f*ck you" sentiment. Again, ironically, it is people like Paul Ryan who are in fact responsible for the "It" that Twisted Sister does not want to take anymore. The main takeaway here is that if everyone was happy, nobody would have a career. Also, further proof that everyone can agree on the effectiveness of P90X.
